2009 Award Recipient

Gail Jackson, our current NW Region District 2 Fellowship Representative, tells us,

“The yearly Soroptimist International NW Regional Fellowship Award Grant applicants represent a broad range of fields, from Health Care to Education to Anthropology.

Last year our Fellowship Award Recipient was Tera Roberts. Tera continues to successfully complete her Family Nurse Practitioner degree program on schedule. She tells us that she has completed the first of her 3 year doctoral degree program (Ethics and Health Care Finance) with a smattering of casting, suturing, and EKG specialty intensives.

Tera expresses her gratitude and the progress of her academic and personal goals; which continues through the support of SIA and other generous scholarship donors.

Tera Roberts is an impressive and inspirational woman, and a deserving recipient of our award.

Participation in this award is for every club to cheer on another woman’s dream.”
