Soroptimist International of Portland is part of the Northwestern Region of Soroptimist International of America federation. The world’s largest classified service organization for executive and professional women, Soroptimist International focuses on human rights and advancing the status of women, with nearly 100,000 members in more than 124 countries and territories world wide.

We are the only service organization in the world that holds a General Consultative Status with the United Nations.

Soroptimists serve their communities worldwide and focus on the following programs:
